Taking to Instagram, the NBC personality confirmed in a post that she was in remission. This comes after she took a 10-week absence from Open House and New York Live. Gore was focused on her health and recovery.
"I'm doing really well," she wrote. "Currently cancer free. Hallelujah. ?." According to Gore, she's in the "reconstruction phase" and will need several months to fully heal. "It's truly a journey. Healing has taken some time, but every week I've felt a little more like me again."
The NBC host was thankful for all of the suport that she's got.

"Thank you for the books. The food. The flowers. The prayers. The puzzles. The cards. The texts. The calls. Every thoughtful gesture that came my way. I felt EVERY bit of it," she wrote. "You carried me through some really hard days, and I'll never forget your kindness."
Gore also expressed that she couldn't wait to get back to normal with things.
"Until then, I'm soaking up these last few slow mornings appreciating all the moments that usually move by too fast to notice. It's good to be here," she concluded her post. "I love you all."
The good news comes after Gore revealed in April that she had breast cancer. At the time, the NBC host said she was stepping away from her shows.
"It just felt right to tell you myself. I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and I'm going to be stepping away for treatment and surgery," she said at the time. "If I didn't say that I was a little bit scared, I'd be lying."
Gore says that she knew she was at high risk and that this may come one day.
"For some reason, even when you catch it early because you're doing everything right, it is an emotional blow," Gore said. "I wasn't ready for that. That actually really surprised me. It really stung. I'm going to come back better than ever, and I'm going to see you on the other side of this. Thank you for all you've done."
