Zaire Wade Has Played in the NBA G League
Before running into legal issues, Zaire was attempting to follow in his father's footsteps. In high school, he played for the famed Sierra Canyon School alongside Bronny James, the son of LeBron James. Upon leaving high school, Zaire spent one season in the G League, suiting up for the Salt Lake City Stars.
In total, he suited up for 25 G League games, averaging 3.2 points, 1.7 assists and 1.9 rebounds per night, while seeing an average of 16.7 minutes of playing time. Following his one-and-done tenure in the G League, Zaire moved to South Africa to play for the Cape Town Tigers in the Basketball Africa League.
Unfortunately, things didn't work out for Zaire. He played in just four games, averaging 9.2 points, 4.2 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 29.7 minutes of playing time.
Zaire hasn't played professional basketball since the 2022-23 season. There are currently no further details regarding his legal situation.
