In February, it was revealed that Nat Myers, a rising country singer, was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, the country scene has been rallying around him as he updates us on his long and awful cancer treatment journey.
Charlie Crockett even stepped in to raise funds by putting up his 1984 Cadillac as a Sweepstakes prize.
All of the support has doubtlessly assisted Nat Myers, as alongside his own steeled determination, he is finally well enough to get on the stage again. He posted earlier this month to announce that he's ready to step on the stage again, and has since booked two shows.
You can find Nat Myers at the Master Musicians Festival on July 12 for a late-night set. On the CNB Second Stage at 11pm, Nat Myers will be performing. The Somerset, Kentucky, venue was "thrilled" to share the news.
Nat Myers is also performing at The Burl in Lexington, Kentucky, on August 8th. He announced the news himself under an Instagram video of him swinging in a hammock.
So if you've been waiting for Nat Myers to be well enough to perform, the time has finally come. If you can travel down to Somerset or Lexington, it'll be well worth it.
