Charlie Kirk has been immortalised in the form of a Nashville highway. According to Whiskey Riff, next time you're travelling in or out of Nashville, look for the Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway.
A part of State Route 386, commonly known as the Vietnam Veterans Boulevard, has been officially renamed. It commemorates the life of the Turning Point USA founder.
More specifically, it's a 15-mile stretch of highway in Sumner County. It starts from the Davidson County line. In order to receive a memorial designation, the fees for the signage had to be funded by someone. But it's not 100% clear who funded it at the moment.
One thing that is clear is that the state government themselves haven't funded it. That means that it must have been paid for by either the local government, the family of Charlie Kirk, or some other outside entity looking to honor him in some way.
The name comes as a part of a bill that was proposed last month. The bill reads that the highway "honors the prominent political activist, media personality, and true pioneer for freedom of speech who co-founded the conservative student organization Turning Point USA and served as its executive director until his assassination in 2025."

Politicians Have Praised the New "Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway"
Several politicians have praised the designation of the portion of highway.
State Representative Johnny Garrett said the highway is "a tribute to the man who awakened a renewed love of country... And respect for the constitution in young people."
He added, "For years to come, Tennesseans who travel this highway will be reminded of Charlie's legacy. We will continue carrying the torch for the principles he championed!"
Conservative activist Riley Gaines was also keen to see her hometown honor Kirk. "The highway in my hometown has officially been dedicated as the Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway. I drive this stretch almost every day. Beautiful tribute that the entire North Nashville community will see for years to come."
But others aren't so keen. People on Reddit say it was a "waste of tax dollars", with another writing, "I have a feeling it won't last long until it's damaged in some way, shape, or form - I think this will offend too many people."
Either way, one thing remains true - you might just be driving down the Charlie Kirk highway very, very soon.
