'Nashville' Stars Reach out to Fans with New Post-Show Series 'Nashchat'

Nashville fans have even more to be excited about this season. CMT has just launched a new live chat show that brings fans closer to their favorite stars.

Nashchat launched just after the Nashville Season 5 premiere on Facebook Live. It features live interviews with both the cast and crew, as well as music and fan discussions. Amy Brown, a Nashville superfan, hosts the show.

To kick off the very first episode, Brown welcomed actor Chris Carmack (Will Lexington) as a guest. Amy and Chris recapped the episode and invited fans to chat with them along the way. The live-chat takes place inside a living room on CMT's Nashville set and will feature a new surprise guest eat week.

The addition of Nashchat comes after Nashville's cancellation by ABC following the end of season 4 in May. Fans filled social media with requests for another network to pick up the series. Luckily, CMT heard their cries and brought the series back to life.

"Fans saved 'Nashville," CMT president Brian Philips tells The Hollywood Reporter. "Now we're inviting fans into our living room to celebrate the characters, stories and music they love. With 'Nashchat', we'll create a home across all social media culminating with a Facebook Live interactive recap and fan chat immediately following new episodes."

If you want to be a part of Nashchat, you can join the conversation via Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
