The man was taking his birthday suit walk through Campbell Park in St. Petersburg, just outside of Tampa Bay, on the morning of Oct. 13. According to local outlet Fox 13, the park the naked man was stepping through was next to an elementary school.
An officer from the St. Petersburg police department responded to reports of a naked man in the park at around 7:57 that morning. The officer reported finding Carlos Luis Miller-Orraca nude in the park shortly after arriving on the scene.
WFLA reports that staff from nearby Campbell Park Elementary School saw the nude man from over their fence.
Florida Man Offers Up Odd Explanations For Walking Naked in a Park Near an Elementary School...
According to the officer, the man in the buff claimed he was part of a nude art exhibit when questioned. You know, those nude art exhibits that kick off before 8:00 am at parks a stone's throw away from elementary schools. Those.
Perhaps sensing his story wasn't cutting the mustard, the naked man allegedly switched up his story. He claimed he thought he was at a nude resort. You know, those nude resorts that are famously known for being right next to elementary schools. Those.
According to Fox 13, police haven't released any further details on how Miller-Orraca found himself naked at the park. Judging by the way his explanations allegedly escalated, it probably involves being abducted and probed by space aliens. You know, the sort of space aliens that do their experiments on Florida residents, then drop them off naked near elementary schools. Those.
Despite his alleged explanations, Miller-Orraca was reportedly arrested. He was charged with exposure of sexual organs. He was also officially trespassed from Campbell Park.
