"The entertainment industry is always shifting, and I've never been someone who sits on the sidelines," she said. "OnlyFans gives me a space to create what I want, how I want, and share it directly with the people who've supported me for years."
In wording that echoed American Pie star Shannon Elizabeth, who recently joined the platform herself, Pressly noted how her decision is aimed at creating a closer relationship with her fans.
"This is another way for me to connect directly with my audience, on my own terms, with creativity and intention. I've loved meeting fans at various comic-cons. The excitement of having those real face-to-face moments made me want to seek options like OnlyFans."
Pressly was a fan favorite during her time on My Name Is Earl, winning an Emmy Award for 'Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.' Now, those same fans who loved her during the show's initial run will have a chance to connect with her via the OnlyFans platform.
Andy Bachman, CEO of Creators Inc., Issued a Statement on Pressly's Launch
Following Pressly's decision to pivot her career toward OnlyFans, Andy Bachman, the CEO of Creators Inc., issued a statement.
"She's an elite entertainer, and fans are going to love what she creates here," Bachman said.
According to PEOPLE, fans can expect to see a "more personal, playful, and completely unfiltered" side of Pressly. She's expected to post 'exclusive' photos, videos, behind-the-scenes moments, late-night thoughts and be available to speak with fans.
"If you've ever wondered what I'm really like when the script ends... Come closer," her bio reads.
Pressly joins Shannon Elizabeth and Drea de Matteo as former stars who have now pivoted to the controversial site. With more stars now turning to OnlyFans as a career outlet, it does make you wonder who will be next. Only time will tell.
