Musician Tries To Scare a Raccoon Out of Their Home and It Did Not Go Well

Kesha is one of the most fearless artists today, but a recent video shows that the "Die Young" artist has a weakness: a raccoon.

The pop singer posted two videos to her Instagram Stories of a recent encounter she had with a trash panda. Things did not go well.

Kesha Told the Raccoon She Was "Scared"

In the videos, which were posted yesterday, July 21, Kesha was trying to scare a raccoon away from her house.

She shows it peeking through an open window. While the furry creature weighs its options, the singer issues a stern warning.

"No raccoons in the house," she tells it. "I'm scared of you."

Maybe showing fear was her first mistake. After repeated warnings, Kesha succumbs to the raccoon's charms.

"You're very cute," she tells it. "I guess you win."

But just as the trash panda begins to make its way inside, Kesha finds her strength.

"Get out of the house," she yells. "I am scary. Go away!"

She adds, "Dude, come on. Don't be psychotic. No! No, you're being insane. You're actually crazy. I'm scary. I'm so scary! Get away! F***in' s***."

But the raccoon was too much for the pop star. She shuts the door and gives up, telling the animal, "Well, just f*****g move in."

Raccoons May Be Cute, But...

It's unclear whether Kesha was able to get the raccoon out of her house. And while the clip made for some cute content, it should be noted that the four-legged creatures can carry rabies.

For example, back in May, a toddler was bitten by a raccoon at a beach in Massachusetts. The father said that his son was "pretty severely bit by this raccoon." He quickly brought him to an area hospital for treatment.

Authorities said the young child "received appropriate medical treatment" at the hospital, including the first dose of the rabies vaccine.
