Love him or hate him, Morrissey is an icon. He redefined music as a whole during his tenure as The Smiths' frontman.
But, as you may or may not know, if he could be defined by one thing, it'd have to be his tendency to cancel shows. Whether he does it at short notice or from months away, fans always have to wait with bated breath.
And the music legend has his latest victim. It's his four-show Las Vegas residency, according to Deadline. The four shows at the Wynn Las Vegas Encore Theater were set to go from August 14 to August 19.
Whether it was because he "hadn't got a stitch to wear", or otherwise, we'll never know—especially because the cancellation notice was particularly cagey.
And Morrissey wasn't even the one to announce them—prospective concertgoers were sent a generic email. It reads as follows:
"Hello, we regret to inform you that Morrissey - Live in Concert, scheduled for August 14, 15, 18, and 19 at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas, has been canceled. Due to unforeseen logistical issues, the scheduled Las Vegas residency cannot take place."

The Music Legend Is Known for Cancelling Concerts
Any fan of Morrissey, or The Smiths in general, knows that he's known for cancelling concerts. And while the music legend—like in this case—often doesn't give any reason at all, sometimes he does. And, yes, in typical Morrissey fashion, they are crazy.
Far Out compiled some of the more outlandish ones.
One particularly memorable cancellation came in 2017, when the music legend claimed that the Italian police had physically pulled a gun on him and told him to cancel seven dates across the country. I know some people just can't hack his music, but come on!
Coachella 2009 was another canceled gig for the music legend. As a vegan, the apparent smell of burning meat was enough for him to call his show off.
The cancellations have marred a career that is also quite controversial in itself. Morrissey isn't known for pulling punches when it comes to his opinions. In any case, people still love to see him—that is, when he shows up!
