Dionne Warwick has received a pretty encouraging health update. In case you weren't aware, she was previously forced to cancel a Carnegie Hall appearance due to debilitating pain in her leg.
We reported on it when it happened. She was slated to perform for the Deborah Silver & Fabulous Friends: Voices for ALS charity benefit.
She released a heartfelt statement following her bowing out of the appearance. "I'm sorry to have had to cancel the chance to see you all at Carnegie," the music legend wrote.
"My leg and foot would not allow me to stand nor walk at the moment. Due to the pain, I just couldn't do anything other than cancel my appearance this time, as I focus on rest and recovering from it."
85-year-old Warwick also asked for "understanding and grace" at the time, adding, "only the pain and inability to stand or walk is the reason for my absence."

The Music Legend Received an Update
But now, as reported by People, the music legend had received an encouraging health update.
A representative for the "I Say A Little Prayer" singer explained that she "was not feeling well" at the time, especially as a supporter of the ALS Foundation who "wanted to be a part of the fantastic program".
However, the rep clarified that the music legend is now feeling "much better".
This comes after a pretty storied history with her leg and foot. She previously had to get leg surgery back in 2025. Per E!News, she took to social media after her surgery to announce her recovery.
"As most of you may know, I've had to cancel a few shows due to emergency leg surgery... I'm doing okay, do not worry!" She also proceeded to ask for film and TV recommendations to watch "whilst on the mend".
She also said at the time, "The last thing I expected was to have surgery the day I was to fly to London. Pain was unbearable and my doctor rushed me into surgery thank goodness, as it could've resulted in something far worse."
We're glad that the music legend is feeling better!
