MTV star Tyler Duckworth has died at the age of 44. As reported by Suggest, he had competed on several seasons of the network's The Challenge, having won two seasons.
His mother, Jodi Duckworth, announced his tragic passing on social media. "My son, Tyler, passed away earlier this week," she lamented. "Cause of death has yet to be determined. I will post on Facebook about services as soon as his dad and I figure it out."
Duckworth had passed away on Tuesday, August 12. The MTV star was reportedly found unresponsive in a bathroom in North Dakota, where he had been living for some time.
His death was reported as being "unattended", meaning that no-one was there to witness it. According to People, police officers had been dispatched to his home after a neighbor reported water coming through his floor.
As his mother wrote, no cause of death has currently been established. However, it has been discovered that the MTV star had undergone surgery in recent months.
The nature of the procedure has not been disclosed - nor whether it appeared it played a part in his tragic passing. Authorities explained his cause of death was "pending the results of an autopsy."

The MTV Star Had Attended a 'The Challenge' Event Recently
The MTV star's tragic passing comes just two weeks after he had attended a The Challenge event. He appeared at The Challenge Mania in Minneapolis on just July 31.
He posted on social media in order to document the event, writing, "@challengemaniapodcast always knows how to bring the BEST of the BEST together... so proud to represent my hometown of Minneapolis along with these other challenge legends."
"The fans are what keep us coming out," he also explained. "Hearing your stories of courage, inspiration & joy that you've got being a fan of the franchise is humbling each and every time."
"Also, pretty sure we nailed the cast photo for the lost season of The Real World: Minneapolis!! Thank you Minneapolis! Thank you [Scott Yager]. It was REAL!!"
