The band are set to headline Bloodstock Festival in the United Kingdom next year. They are sharing top billing with fellow headliners Mercyful Fate and Electric Callboy.
Frontman Chris Motionless, whose real name is Chris Cerulli, has been reflecting on the band's rise. This comes following the release of their latest album, Decades.
Motionless in White Ready to "Go Super Hard" at Bloodstock
Motionless in White released their debut album, Creatures, back in 2010, but the band have reached new heights in recent years.
Cerulli discussed their upcoming Bloodstock appearance during a recent interview with Full Metal Jackie. He admitted the opportunity has provided extra motivation.
"We wanted to go do that and prove them right," he said. "To be honest, [we want to] prove a lot of other people wrong and that's a cool motivating factor and we're gonna go super hard."
"When you're a younger band, you're like, 'Man, if we were ever given that chance, we would put on the craziest show we possibly can' and now we get to do that."
Cerulli hinted that the band will put significant resources into the production of their headline set. While making sure everything is "tight as possible".
Band Builds on Success of Latest Album Decades
Cerulli said Motionless in White welcomed the opportunity to headline Bloodstock. They opted to build their UK festival plans around the event rather than Download Festival.
With the latter, they would not have received headline billing.
Decades marked the band's first album in four years, arriving on July 17, 2026, through Roadrunner Records.
"I would have to say this is the most Motionless record," Cerulli added.
"There might be a couple moments that pushed those types of elements much further into a more modern direction, but everything on there is something that we've touched on before because we wanted to have an album that was, like, so inspired by all the past elements."
Cerulli described the album as the "all-stars of Motionless in White songs come together into one album," adding that he and the band are "really happy with it".
Metal Hammer and Kerrang! both awarded the album four out of five stars, while it also enjoyed considerable chart success around the world.
It reached No. 15 on the US Billboard 200 and No. 5 on the US Top Rock & Alternative Albums chart.
In the UK, Decades topped the UK Rock & Metal Albums chart, while also reaching the top five in Germany, France, Austria and Australia.
