A Kansas mother of four is fighting for her life. After a freak accident involving a group of spiders earlier this year.

Britagne Miller was visiting Cheney Reservoir near Wichita with her family back in May. While sitting by a campfire during their visit, Miller was ambushed by a group of spiders that began to climb on her. This left her body covered in bite marks.
Mother of Four Nearly Succumbs to Spider Bite Injuries
Miller, who is currently living with a blood clot disorder, said that she initially felt fine. But then some days went by. And she noticed that a painful bruise was beginning to take shape by one of the bites on her leg. And she took herself to the hospital to have doctors investigate what the issue was.
"This one kept swelling and swelling. And it was like, you know, a fire stir that's metal," Miller said as caught by the New York Post. "It was like shooting down my leg into my foot, and it felt like it was being stabbed."
When she arrived at the hospital, doctors immediately told her that she needed to have surgery to address the spider bite. But the mother of four admits that she was pessimistic about going under the knife. Due to her blood clot disorder.
"I'm terrified of surgery, that I'm going to go to sleep and not wake up, or that I'm going to bleed out," Miller told KCRA. "They came at 9 a.m., and they're like, we need you to sign this paper. We're going into surgery."
According to the outlet, the doctors removed roughly two ounces of blood clots and inserted a drain to assist with the healing of the area where she was bitten. But that was far from the end of her complications.
Days later, Miller developed a staph infection. And doctors told her that they believed that she had months or even days left to live.
However, she refused hospice care. And instead chose to gut it out and went through multiple surgeries in the Intensive Care Unit before being released from the hospital back in July.
She is now on the waiting list for a liver transplant.
