Morgan Wallen Fans Think Music Video Hides Crucial Clue On When Next Album Is Coming

On the dawn of the new year, Morgan Wallen released a new single and it's accompanying music video, Smile. The video mirrors real life in more ways than one, although also may be hinting at the future.

The eagle-eyed denizens were tearing it apart for Easter eggs almost immediately after the music video hit the internet. And they may have found something.

Fans recon Wallen has hinted at the name of his next album, or at least a future track, in the music video for Smile.

In the music video, Morgan Wallen was set to perform his single Love Somebody at a late-night talk show, named Dark Til' Daylight. He instead sings "Smile," to the delight of the paid audience in the video, and the unpaid audience in real life.

The name of the talk show appears a few times in the video; however, it is as if they really want to drill the phrase home. Interestingly, Dark Til' Daylight would be a fitting name for a country track. Whether it's a single, or a lead single for an album is unknown, as it's only potentially a teaser.

But that's not all.

Fans Spot 'Smile' Detail That May Hint At Upcoming Tour

One fan in particular has noticed a rather minute detail hidden in the background of the music video. Yet it's a detail that appears twice in two different settings, meaning Wallen wanted to make sure we saw it.

In Wallen's dressing room and on a random pillar, two pieces of paper are stuck to the wall. The fan points out both occasions.

Both sheets have the name of the talk show, so it could be brushed off as 'general show information' for the staff and crew. However, if the name doubles as a tease for a future Wallen song, then these papers could double as something else too.

Most immediately, it looks like listed information about an album and its tracklist. Another fan points out, however, that it "Looks like a tour date list."

If "Dark Til' Daylight" is the name of a lead single, then it's the name of the album. It's plausible to say that the sheets resemble tour information, which means this little detail could be a huge hint.

Of course, these are just names that provide no dates or time frames whatsoever. But it is fun to get excited about it now.

In a personalized message to fans, Wallen did say that although he's taking time for himself, he's working and that he'd see everyone in 2025. I don't think anyone has a tour on the books for 2025, but who knows.
