Morgan Wade led her L.A. crowd in a powerful prayer for Teddi Mellencamp, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum who had to receive emergency brain surgery.
The other night, country singer Moran Wade performed at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles. At the end of a song, she spoke into the mic to talk about he friend, Teddi Mellencamp. The reality star had to undergo surgery for several brain tumors last week.
No updates have been given about Mellencamp's surgery or her health as she recovers in privacy. Wade wanted to send some love her way and brought up Mellencamp's current situation with her Sin City audience.
Kyle Richards, who was rumored to have a relationship with Morgan Wade last year, recorded the moment and uploaded it to her Instagram story. The full video was also
"I'm really blessed to have a bunch of people here with me tonight, if you don't mind, when you leave here tonight, say a prayer for my good friend Teddi Mellencamp," she began. Wade then explained her ordeal.
After that, an audience member called out, and suggested that everyone pray together.

Morgan Wade made sure the audience was cool with entering prayer together, and everyone seemed up for it.
She then prayed, "Dear Lord, we just ask that you reach down and touch Teddi, and take care of her, bring her through this, keep her strong. She's an amazing individual, loving mom, so we pray for her as you watch over her and guide her. In Christ name, amen."

It was immediately followed by a funny anecdote of when Mellencamp "roasted" Wade when she visited her in the hospital. Wade explained that she's a pretty awkward person, and this even extends to her friends.
"She reached her hand out, and I'm very awkward ... And I touched her hands," she explained. "And I was like, 'Love you,' and she was like, 'You're still very... this was very awkward. I like that.'" I can very much imagine this candid interaction.
Wade then went on to say how much she appreciates the crowd.
Everyone is hoping for a swift recovery for Mellencamp. It's nice to see she has such good friends in her corner.
