Morgan Wade, Kyle Richards Nod to Dating Rumors With New Music Video

"The Internet is going to be popping off," Wade said.

Morgan Wade and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards have been the subjects of dating rumors for months, and they are responding in a unique way. Wade revealed this week that Richards will star as her love interest in the music video for her song, "Fall in Love With Me." For the women — who have many times insisted they're just friends — the video is a way to "poke fun" at the internet rumors.

Wade and Richards explained their decision to partner for the video in a clip shared to Wade's Instagram page. The two revealed that they met after Richards discovered Wade's music and followed the singer on social media. Wade then reached out to Richards.

"I just didn't expect someone from Beverly Hills," Wade explained, adding that her friends "freaked out" when Richards followed her.

The two soon met and formed a close friendship, often working out, attending awards shows and even vacationing together. While they shared snaps of one another on their social media accounts, fans and the general public began questioning if they are dating. While both women denied these stories, starring in the video together is "entertainment" for them.

"I've done several music videos and every time there's someone in it they always assume we're dating or something's going on," Wade explained, likely referencing the rumors surrounding herself and Kip Moore after his "If I Was Your Lover" video. "If you go on the Internet, you'll see people are obsessed with us being friends."

Wade then explained her reasoning for including Richards in the video.

"We thought it would kind of be a good idea to kind of poke fun at that and troll the trolls a little bit," Wade shared. "The Internet is going to be popping off about this one I'm sure."

"Well, if they're gonna talk, you might as well give them something to talk about," Richards added.

The Instagram clip of Wade and Richards also gives glimpses of the video, showing Richards in a cascading teal gown and Wade in a hot pink outfit.

Richards' budding friendship with Wade comes at a time when her marriage to husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky, appears to be in a state of flux. The couple announced their separation in July.

Wade shares that the music video will be released this week.
