Sometimes it's so hard to get a little service. However, a woman in a hospital found that unplugging her baby's monitor would bring a nurse running, resulting in bedside sandwich delivery.

The woman was heavily criticized when she posted the video of her sandwich delivery service on TikTok. She has since removed the video, but not before a number of people grabbed a screen recording.
The woman is seen holding her baby in the NICU. She then proceeds to demonstrate that if she needs anything, she can summon a nurse by simply unplugging the monitor. As she does it, a nurse comes rushing into the room. The unplugged monitor raises alarms, but the woman simply orders a turkey sandwich.
The nurse checks the baby and patiently explains that she should not be playing with the equipment. She goes on to explain that if she wants anything to eat, she can put the baby down and get it herself. But, nurses being the angels they are, she still gets her a sandwich anyway after plugging back in the monitor.
She Could Have Been Asked To Leave
Despite the mother saying that she had been told by other nurses to unplug the monitor if she needed anything, like a sandwich, most people call BS. In any ward, there is always a 'call' button. This is what should be used to summon a nurse when in need.
However, it appears that the woman didn't use this technique just the once. Apparently, she unplugged the monitor a second time to get a drink to go with her sandwich. As she stated, she didn't want to disturb her baby.
One nurse spoke up in the comments about the situation. "NICU nurse here - I would tell her no and we would have grounds for management to tell her to leave. That is a safety concern." Despite the mother thinking she is the center of the world, it wouldn't take much to bring her back down to earth.
The entitled woman was endangering other people in the ward by unplugging the monitor for a sandwich. In these situations, nurses drop whatever they are doing to rush to a possible emergency. She could have been denying someone else much-needed attention.
