Some people are great parents, and then some....there are no words. Last Tuesday a mother and her boyfriend were arrested after they were accused of leaving a toddler in a car for two hours so that they could go drink at a bar.

Mom Accused Of Leaving Toddler In Car So She Can Go Drink At Bar

Police received a 911 call last Tuesday night reporting a toddler in a vehicle, unattended. The person who called didn't want any trouble but clearly felt bothered by the child left all alone. "I don't know if there's an actual emergency, but there's a baby out here in a car by itself," the woman said.
Police immediately arrived to the scene and did find the two year old toddler unattended in the unlocked car, crying. Moments later, the vehicle's owner emerged from within the bar. He admitted to owning the car but claimed he had been coming to check on the child as soon as he learned of its presence in his vehicle.
The Daily Mail shared his response. "I am the owner of the vehicle, but I'm not her mother. She's inside." The man identified himself as the boyfriend of the child's mother. Eventually, the neglectful mother appeared from within the bar as well. When she approached officers asked her if she had any indication of why there were there. To which she replied, "Yeah."
Those Are Fighting Words
As officers removed the child and tried to console her, the mother was more interested in fighting with her boyfriend than checking on the toddler she had abandoned in the car. However, I guess if she was okay leaving the toddler in the car so she could go drink in a bar, she was fine with having the officers handle the toddler now.
From the back of the police car the child's mother, Kristina Vitucci, began yelling at her boyfriend. "I like literally cannot even believe that all this s**t f****ng happened." To which her boyfriend, Joshua Harris, responded, "I can."
While continuing the fight, he begins to place emphasis of the blame onto Vitucci. "You brought her to a bar," he began. "I also asked you to leave, how many times? I told you to f*****ng leave!" he claimed. Then, he continued, "I told you not to come here," he screamed at Vitucci.
It would appear that despite his pleas, this mother thought leaving her toddler in the car while she went to drink at a bar was the right course of action. The Daily Mail shares that "both Vitucci and Harris were released from Volusia County Branch Jail, each on $5,000 bail."
However, police were disgusted by the pair's actions. They shared their thoughts in a Facebook post. The post read, "So disgusting we don't even have a caption...Las night, the mother (Kristina Vitucci) [and] her boyfriend (Joshua Harris) left their 2 year old in an unlocked vehicle while they sat inside a bar drinking for nearly 2 hours. Both were arrested for child neglect. Do better."
