What Is the New M&M's Flavor?
The Instagram food blog account @snackolator revealed yesterday, Aug. 16, that Mint Crunchy Cookie M&M's will be sold exclusively at Walmart.
"I am going to DEVOUR these new Mint Crunchy Cookie M&M's," the caption read. "They are starting to arrive at Walmart and as a mint fan these sound incredible!"
It continued, "They have a mint chocolate outside with a crunchy cookie middle - what's not to like? These are going to be exclusive to Walmart (as you can see on the packaging) and are arriving in some stores now."
Although the post and packaging don't explicitly mention Thin Mints, the beloved Girl Scout cookie flavor, that is clearly what M&M's is going for with this new flavor.
One commenter also noted the distinction. "Doing everything they can not to call it a thin mint," they wrote.
Another added, "Seems a riff of thin mint cookies. I wanna chop these up and add to cookies. A new twist. Or even peppermint bark."
But Are They Good?
The new Mint Crunchy Cookie M&M's are just hitting stores, so not many people have tried them yet. While @snackolator seems to love this new flavor, other commenters have posted mixed reviews.
One wrote, "The crunch isn't like a cookie at all. It's like a Rice Krispie. Disappointing. It's a mint Rice Krispie m&m. Which is fine..."
Another added, "Yoooooo m&m come through."
"Really good," wrote another.
"Just tried these. So good," praised one user.
Another wrote, "I used to mix their mint ones with their cookie ones...now I don't have to."
It appears that the Share Size of Mint Crunchy Cookie M&M's is already sold out on Walmart's website. Hopefully, more will become available soon.
