Finally, after a painfully long wait a missing New York girl has been found. Emma Gervasi was found on a boat by her father and now he is sharing his gratitude, horror stories, and plans for the future.

Missing New York Girl Found On Boat
The NY Post shares that Frank Gervasi's 14-year-old daughter, Emmarae, "vanished on the night of Dec. 9." Frank admits that his daughter initially left of her own free will, with a man that she met online. However, afterward she was seen getting into a strange car outside of her home with no jacket and no shoes. Her family feared the worst, that she had been kidnapped.
The following day, security cameras show her at a Bohemia motel. However after that, she disappeared again. It is believed that the unknown "random 65-year-old man she didn't know" is who took her. While his daughter was missing, Frank did everything he could to find her.
The Post shares that he "pleaded for help on social media and searched for leads on his own." Just when he had begun to give up home, he got a call from a woman. She informed Mr. Gervasi that she believed his daughter was on a boat in Islip. However, she was too frightened to enter the boat herself.
Luckily for Emmarae, her father had no such qualms. He entered the boat with a fiery determination to save his baby girl. Gervasi admitted that there was no one on the boat at the time of her rescue, however he believed she was being held by "some dangerous people."
Details On The Case
After rescuing his little girl, Frank Gervasi went on Facebook to share his thoughts. First he addressed the negative comments that he had been receiving. People telling him that his daughter left of her own free will. Or that she could have left the boat at any time. He quickly shut all of those comments down.
He set the facts straight on both accounts. First he stated, "Emma was being held against her will." He continued by explaining that she could not leave the boat without an escort. Then he shared the horrible truth that "she was being forced to do things that a 14-year-old girl shouldn't have to do."
Next, he addressed the arguments claiming the missing New York girl was a runaway. He stated, "While she may have left the house with a stupid thought, what happened to her in this really bad world we live in, is what we are talking about here." I am sure we can all agree, whether she left of her own choices or not, what happened to her should not have happened.
A Father's Warning
Then, Frank shares how his daughter is safe at a facility and getting the help she needs. He admits that while he and detectives are still looking into the case, he does believe this was an instance of sex-trafficking. Then, he goes onto explain some of the many ways that sex-trafficking can happen and warns parents about the dangers of the world.
After he states, "Trafficking is a huge problem across the world... and I stress that parents should keep an eye on their children." Furthermore, he shares how he doesn't plan to stop here. While he is thankful that his nightmare is over, he recognizes that some parents are still living theirs. He admits that he and the detectives are "going to be actively working on trying to figure out how to help other families."
Because, as he shares there are dangerous people out there. He leaves his viewers with a final chilling message, "these people are predators and they will stop at nothing to get to your kids.'
