Miranda Lambert will be the host for this year's edition of CBS' annual adoption special, A Home for the Holidays.
The show, which will air tonight (Dec. 23), celebrates families that have adopted children through the foster care system. Lambert recorded live renditions of "Keeper of the Flame" and "Pushin' Time" off her recent LP, The Weight of These Wings. The country star also performed her platinum and Grammy award winning single, "The House That Built Me." You can see a sneak peek of that performance below.
CBS' A Home for the Holidays special will highlight many children in the United States foster care system. On top of her hosting duties, Lambert also took some time out of her schedule to visit some foster families from across the country. It's a great way to show the hard-nosed singer's softer side this Christmas season.
Lambert released her sixth full-length record, The Weight of These Wings, on Nov. 18. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard country charts. Next year, she'll head out on the Highway Vagabond Tour, with support from Old Dominion and Aubrie Sellers.
