Miranda Lambert is gearing up to release her first new record in two years. On Sept. 13, the country star revealed details of her highly-anticipated sixth studio album.
Lambert shared the news by posting a cinematic video on her social media pages. In the clip, she’s seen sitting inside her customized Airstream trailer, nicknamed “Wanda.” As the camera sneaks closer to the star, we can see the album’s title and release date written in her notebook.
The Weight of These Wings will hit stores on Nov. 18, just in time for the holidays. The release was produced by Frank Liddell, Glenn Worf and Eric Masse and promises to be one of her most personal and reflective projects yet. The album will also feature Lambert’s current single, “Vice,” which is rapidly climbing the charts.
A full track listing and additional details on the record are expected to be released in the coming weeks. Until then, Lambert is resting up after cancelling the final dates of her Keeper of the Flame Tour in Texas. Multiple reports say that the star is currently on strict vocal rest. However, no other information on why the dates were cancelled has been confirmed.
