In recent years, more and more country music festivals have been popping up across the country. But which country chart-toppers are attracting the biggest crowds?
In a new report released by mobile app developer Aloompa, Miranda Lambert was found to be the most in-demand artist during the 2015 music festival season. The company used data collected from their apps, which serviced 50 music festivals across the country, to see which artists attracted the most fans.
Inside each of these festival's individual apps, concertgoers can make their own schedule which tells them where and when artists are performing each day. Aloompa collected that data to see which artists were added to those schedules most often.
Miranda Lambert was found to be the number one most in-demand artist by app users. Lambert topped the all-genre chart, with Justin Moore following closely behind in third place. On the country chart, Lambert and Moore are followed by nearly-tied Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Chris Young.
It's important to note that there may be some factors that skew the data used to make the rankings, including the amount data collected from country music festivals compared to all-genre festivals. Still, it's a good indicator of just how large of a fanbase Lambert has.
