Miranda Lambert is about to release a brand new double album on her very own record label.
The "Vice" singer has teamed up with Sony Music Nashville to launch their new label imprint, Vanner Records. This new deal marks an extension of Lambert's 12-year career relationship with Sony.
"Re-signing Miranda to Sony Music Nashville and helping her create Vanner Records has been absolutely one of the highlights of my 15 months at Sony Music Nashville," Randy Goodman, Chairman & CEO of Sony Music Nashville, said in a statement. "Miranda, as an artist, represents everything we want to be as a record company and her energy and vision will help drive us forward as well."
The Weight Of These Wings will be released Nov. 18 through Vanner Records. The two-disc release is one of the most highly-anticipated country albums of the year. The 24-track project features songs co-written with soul singer Anderson East, Brent Cobb, Jack Ingram, and Pistol Annies member Ashley Monroe.
If you're itching to see her live, you won't have to wait long. Next year, you can catch her on the 2017 Highway Vagabond Tour with Old Dominion and Aubrie Sellers.
