Miranda Lambert and Ella Langley appear to make quite the pair. When they're not performing, they're busy creating the craziest memories off-stage.

Take this snake-killing, reptile-wrangling competition, for instance. Lambert and Langley discussed what happened on ELLE's Three Generations. Reba McEntire also appeared during the conversation.
Lambert and Langley were songwriting when they saw a snake. Langley decided to catch the reptile. But Lambert one-upped her.
"We were in the middle of a write and I saw a snake. I tried to get up and catch it," Langley explained. "And Miranda walked outside with a shotgun."
"We were at the farm, y'all," Lambert also explained. "We were trying to out-redneck each other. That's what we were doing."
But no, the reptile didn't get buckshot. Ultimately, Langley won the contest by scaring off the snake. Lambert wasn't pleased to not use her shotgun.
Miranda Lambert and a Shotgun
"The snake did not get shot at," said Langley. "I scared it off and she was mad at me for that. She's like, 'Dang it, I was right here.' "She didn't tell me she was going to get the gun. She just kind of walked out."
Lambert invited McEntire to come out and write with them. She said, "Reba, don't you want to come out and write with us? We won't do snakes and shotguns if you come by with us. We'll keep it low-key."
Lambert and Langley first connected and became good friends after Langley asked Lambert about her pet kangaroo.
"We wrote one song. I figured we were friends enough," Langley said in the ELLE conversation. "After we got done we were all, you know, getting up, getting a snack. And I was like, 'Miranda, did you have a kangaroo?' And she was like, 'I did.'"
Lambert indeed did have a kangaroo.
"I had five dogs in the backseat and a kangaroo in the front," Lambert laughed. "Back home in Oklahoma, you can do that stuff."
