Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town Surprise Fans With 'Goodbye Earl'

During Little Big Town's July 29 concert at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, Miranda Lambert shocked concertgoers with a colorful collaboration.

Lambert took the stage for a rendition of her song "Dear Old Sun" from her latest album The Weight of These Wings. But the real gem of the night was Miranda's feisty and fun cover of the Dixie Chicks' 1999 hit song "Goodbye Earl."

Lambert wasn't the only surprise guest during Little Big Town's weekend stop at the Ryman. Brothers Osborne, Maren Morris and Ronnie Dunn also stopped by during the Saturday and Sunday night shows. Charlie Worsham served as backing guitarist for Saturday night's show.

The unannounced duets have become a staple of LBT's Ryman residency, which kicked off in January to mark the release of their latest record, The Breaker. Other guests who have stopped by over the past few months include Chris Stapleton, Luke Bryan, Alison Krauss and Lee Ann Womack.
