Mike Tyson Admits Diddy Asked Him to Deliver Secret Letter to Trump

“Yeah, I’m friendly with Puff,” Tyson recently said.

It seems Mike Tyson may be the mysterious figure at the center of a secret letter delivered to President Donald Trump on behalf of the incarcerated Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Indeed, recently on SiriusXM's Andy Cohen Live, Kid Dynamite mentioned hand-delivering Diddy's letter asking Trump for a presidential pardon after the veteran rapper and mogul was charged with sex trafficking and other major charges in September 2024.

"Were you buddies with P. Diddy?" Cohen asked the retired boxer. "Yeah, I'm friendly with Puff," Tyson shot back.

Of course, this led to Cohen asking Tyson if he keeps in touch with Diddy while he's in the clink serving a 4-year sentence for prostitution related charges.

The 60-year-old former champ revealed that not only did he speak with Diddy on the phone once while he was in prison, but something pretty wild went down in that single conversation.

"He wanted me to give a letter to the president," Tyson claimed.

When pressed on whether Iron Mike managed to hand-deliver the secret letter to Trump, Tyson confirmed he was successful...

"I did what he told me to do, yeah," Tyson told Cohen.

Trump Recently Confirmed That a Letter From Diddy Asking for a Pardon Was Hand-Delivered to Him

The former Baddest Man on the Planet's comments follow a recent report from The Sun (citing an unidentified source) alleging Tyson did indeed hand-deliver a letter from Diddy to President Trump asking for a pardon.

"Mike admitted he was feeling nervous about it, but agreed to take it to the White House when he visited," the alleged insider told The Sun back in January. "It wasn't something he was expecting when he met with them, but Mike did what he was asked."

However, this Alexandre Dumas-style intrigue ended up being all for naught. Trump decided not to pardon the "Bad Boy 4 Life" rapper. Still, the reality TV star turned politician did acknowledge the secret letter to The New York Times earlier this year.

Trump has pardoned celebrities in the past, including rapper Lil Wayne and fellow reality TV personalities Todd and Julie Chrisley.

That said, Trump never seemed too keen on granting Diddy a pardon.

"You know, I was very friendly with him. I got along with him great and seemed like a nice guy. I didn't know him well," the president told Newsmax last year. "But when I ran for office, he was very hostile."

When pressed on whether that meant he'd pass on pardoning Diddy, Trump replied, "I would say so."
