Carrie Underwood was on hand Saturday (July 22) when her spouse, former NHL star Mike Fisher, got inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame's Class of 2023.
Fisher is a former captain of the Nashville Predators and was an integral part of the 2016 team which reached the Stanley Cup finals. He spent seven of his 17 seasons in the league with the Predators after a decade with the Ottawa Senators.
"Since Mike's arrival in the Volunteer State, he has worked to make the state better in every way. From his on-ice contributions to his philanthropic work across the region, Mike Fisher has made an indelible mark on the state of Tennessee," Brad Willis, Executive Director of the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, shared in March upon the induction announcement. "Mike was part of a Predators team that captivated the state, and we are excited to honor his career with induction into the Class of 2023."
The whole Underwood-Fisher family was in attendance, with Carrie photographed wearing her Sunday's best.

Another photo shows Fisher cradling his trophy alongside Phillip Fulmer, Hall of Fame chair and head coach of the University of Tennessee's national title-winning 1998 squad.
The Hall of Fame website's bio of Fisher holds his family life in the same regard as his career.
"And while his list of professional accomplishments is lengthy, nothing compares to becoming a father times two, which Mike did when he and his wife, Carrie, welcomed Isaiah and Jacob to their family," it reads.
Middle Tennessee State basketball great Steve Smith, Bristol Motor Speedway co-founder Carl R. Moore and University of Tennessee track standout and Olympic gold medalist Tianna Madison round out this year's class.
