In a wonderful example of karmic justice, a man who robbed his co-worker was then robbed himself as he tried to make his getaway.

A 25-year-old man from Pontiac decided that he was going to rob $12,000 from his co-worker. He took the money, and made his way home, calling up a fellow criminal for a lift away from the crime scene. However, the thief hadn't chosen his friends too well and ended up in a spot of bother himself.
The man who picked him up after he robbed his co-worker wanted his slice of the pie. He proceeded to shoot him in the hip and take $4,000 from the original thief. It's hard to have too much sympathy for the original man who robbed his co-worker.
Both Men Being Charged For Robbery
Now, there is a case against both men. The man who robbed his co-worker is facing charges of larceny. However, the second man is getting a much steeper sentence. He is being charged with intent to murder, armed robbery, and three counts of felony weapons charges.
The second man is also on parole for armed robbery and could face up to life imprisonment. I mean, come on, choose your friends better. He would have been better off getting an Uber with all that stolen money.
Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald spoke out about the unfortunate, foolish pair. "The victim will be prosecuted for his own alleged crimes, but those crimes don't justify what happened to him," she said.
However, little has been said about the originally robbed co-worker. I hope they had the large sum of money they had stolen returned to them. Although, it may be a little blood-stained after the whole shooting situation.
It's a sign of the times when back-to-back thefts happen like this. For all of the victims to know each other so well doesn't bode well. I am not entirely sure how any of them thought they would get away with their crimes. There was absolutely no anonymity in either of the two robberies.
Now, two men are being charged with robbery, with the co-worker hopefully back in possession of their original $12,000.
