The Michigan police arrested a shooter after the hospital worker allegedly opened fire on a colleague in the parking lot. The shooting occurred at 7:08 AM on Thursday at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy, according to the Daily Mail.

Hospital Shooter Arrested After Injuring Colleague
After the suspect shot the 25-year-old victim in the arm twice, the police tracked down the shooter and arrested him. The colleague has also received treatment at the hospital and is recovering well. As soon as the hospital knew of the shooting, they were put into a lockdown, forcing the staff to barricade themselves inside.
What we know about the shooter is minor, but we have confirmation that they worked at the hospital. They engaged in a targeted attack on this colleague, shooting five times and only landing a hit twice. Currently, the authorities are keeping the shooter's identity under wraps.
The police have also confirmed that they managed to apprehend the suspect in his Macomb Township home. This region is around a 22-minute car drive from the hospital. He allegedly surrendered himself to the cops after they called him on his phone.
One of the hospital workers described to Local4 how terrifying the situation was during the lockdown. "I was getting into the parking lot getting ready to walk in," said Barbara, a medical assistant. "And another coworker was screaming to get in my car there was an active shooter."
She then described spotting police officers "with their guns drawn walking in a line" in the parking garage. Barbara was just starting her workday when this happened. "It's scary," she continued. "You go to your workplace thinking you're going to be safe."

It also confirmed that it would grant a formal press release soon.Even if the cops hadn't tracked down the shooter, the public would probably have been safe.
