"It's with heavy hearts we share that our brother Axel Oliva tragically passed away yesterday," the caption read. "We are taking time as a family and team to grieve."

Axel co-founded Michelin-recognized Peruvian restaurant Leche de Tigre in San Antonio, Texas. His business partners were also his brothers, Emil and Alec.

"As a restaurant owner, Axel embraced the challenge of building something meaningful. He brought energy, commitment, and care to his work, and he understood that hospitality was about more than food and service," his obituary read. "It was about creating a place where people could gather, feel welcome, and share moments that mattered."

The obituary continued by pointing to his life as an example of the power of consistency.

"His life serves as a reminder that greatness is not found only in grand gestures, but also in consistency, compassion, and the courage to keep showing up with a good heart," it continued. "Axel's legacy is one of strength, warmth, and forward motion. He lived with intention, loved deeply, and worked with purpose."
