The Batmobile is one of the world's most iconic cars and one deep-pocketed comic fan will soon have a chance to purchase the Dark Knight's vaunted vehicle.

The screen-used Batmobile from Tim Burton's 1992 Batman Returns is heading to auction on Nov. 23 and is expected to draw a multi-million-dollar price tag.
Julien's Auctions announced the legendary vehicle will be sold in the ULTIMATE BATMAN AUCTION.
"Considered one of the most historically significant Batmobiles ever offered at auction, this legendary vehicle will cross the auction block for the first time on Monday, November 23, 2026, in Los Angeles and online at Julien's Auctions.
"One of the most instantly recognizable cinematic vehicles in Hollywood history, the Batman Returns Batmobile helped define the darker, expressionist aesthetic of Tim Burton's Gotham City and became one of the most enduring symbols of the modern superhero era."
Tim Burton's 1992 Batmobile Heads to Auction
The Batman Returns vehicle, made famous by Michael Keaton, has one of the most visually striking Batmobile designs.
The sleek, all-black car was built using two Chevrolet Impala chassis spliced together and a custom-made fiberglass body.
It uses a Chevy V8 engine and a 3-speed automatic transmission. The interior houses two seats and a wide array of buttons that resemble a fighter jet. On rear of the car, there is a bat wing design on each side.
The Batmobile was commissioned by by "Legendary Automotive King" Carl Casper, who created several iconic Hollywood rides, including KITT from "Knight Rider," General Lee from "Dukes of Hazard" and the van from the "A-Team."
The car remained in storage for many years before becoming a part of the Marconi Automotive Museum.
At auction, the 1992 Batmobile become the most expensive sold of the lineage.
Industry experts anticipate the prized vehicle go for as much as $7 million.
Julien's Auctions announced that other screen-used props, costumes and collectibles will also be up for grabs.
Additional Gotham City-inspired artifacts for auction will be announced in the coming weeks.
The ULTIMATE BATMAN AUCTION will be held in Los Angeles. Fans can also make bids online.
