Fans were ecstatic in the comments, congratulating Megan on scoring such impressive collaborations. Even Bunnie XO, wife of singer Jelly Roll, expressed her excitement for the new project. "One thing about Megan. She's going to have a roll out," Bunnie wrote. "Queen of roll outs! So proud of you!"
Megan Moroney has revealed to fans so far that she's excited about this project because it's her "best work" yet. However, she also feels that presenting it posed a different kind of challenge for her. She told Music Mayhem, "There's a softness to this album that hasn't been in my other albums... It's definitely like a hot pink—still strong and empowering, but there is a softness to a lot of the lyrics. I think that comes with the confidence I've grown... knowing it's okay to be soft. You don't always have to be on guard."
She elaborated on how the project differs from her previous albums, saying, "On 'Lucky' and 'Girl in the Mirror,' I was questioning my worth... but now... I feel like I've lived enough life and grown up enough, and I'm qualified to tell myself, 'You are worth it.' And I feel qualified to tell other people that too."
"Beautiful Things" Is Also Featured on the New Album
The tracklist for Megan Moroney's album also includes the highly anticipated "Beautiful Things", alongside mysterious yet intriguing titles such as "Wedding Dress" and "Bars & Tigers & Bears". Moroney talked about the impact that "Beautiful Things" has had already, seeing as she released it as a single on October 24, 2025.
"When I wrote it, you never expected it to carry that kind of weight. But when you see the impact that a single song can make, it just makes me proud to be a songwriter and makes me want to keep writing more songs," she shared with Backstage Country. "I've gotten messages from dads who are like 'I get to talk about things like this with my daughter that otherwise we didn't really have a reason to talk about it," she explained.
It seems like Meg really outdid herself with this one.
