Old Dominion's Matthew Ramsey revealed on Monday (May 10) via social media that a ladder accident at home in Nashville left him on the mend.
"How many OD members does it take to change a lightbulb? Well, after a broken rib, collapsed lung and various scrapes and bruises, I found out the answer was, 'More than one,'" Ramsey wrote. "Back home and recovering now with all the fun pills. Y'all be careful out there & get someone to hold ur ladder."
The accompanying photo shows Ramsey giving concerned fans a thumbs up from a hospital bed.
The Old Dominion lead singer and his bandmates are fresh off a live show in Key West, Florida which featured a surprise appearance by Kenny Chesney. The group's next live date's on May 27 in Durant, Oklahoma. It'll kick off the An Evening With Old Dominion: The Band Behind the Curtain Tour.

Old Dominion's the reigning ACM Awards and CMA Awards' Vocal Group of the Year for three years running. Indeed, the group's enjoying a run of country music awards show success that's comparable to that of well-decorated duo Dan + Shay.
No word yet on how or if this'll impact upcoming tour dates. Ramsey worked through surgery for a leg injury during 2019's Make It Sweet Tour by borrowing Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl's "rock throne."
