Matthew McConaughey Has Hilarious Reaction To Seeing His Madame Tussauds Wax Figure

"I feel like AI is alive and well."

Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey has finally been bestowed the most prestigious of awards in the entertainment industry: a wax figure of his likeness in Madame Tussauds.

McConaughey, 53, reacted to the unveiling of his uncanny replica in front of a live studio audience on Tuesday's episode of The View.

McConaughey stood beside his beeswax-molded twin, mimicking the sculpture's pose while onstage with hosts Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar.

"I feel like AI is alive and well," he said after examining the figure from head to toe. "I don't remember when, but I did wear this suit, and I remember those shoes!"

He was astounded at the attention to detail that went into the piece, commenting on the wedding ring, which was even engraved with the letters 6.22.

"I want to know if the figure is as good at giving foot rubs," joked Goldberg, referencing the viral moment from 2006 when McConaughey gave Behar a foot massage.

"He does this" — McConaughey stood behind the figure and wiggled his hands in front of it — "he does the foot rub from here."

"That is wild ... it feels like it's alive," he added with amazement and, perhaps, just a hint of terror.

Matthew stopped by The View as his debut children's book, Just Because, hit stores on Tuesday.

The #1 New York Times best-selling author discussed his inspiration for the book with People Magazine earlier this month.

"It came to me at 2:30 a.m. as a ditty in a dream," he said. "It was a song in my mind, and I got up and wrote it down."
