It's always really sweet when you see those little old couples who've been married for many decades. But in showbiz, these marriages sometimes break down because of the unique pressures they face.
From Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo to Tom Segura and Christina P, the past few weeks have been quite rough for celeb couples. So it's a breath of fresh air when a celebrity like Matt Damon opens up about just how good things are going for once!
And it isn't just some Odysseus method acting, either— their marriage is as good as ever. According to Entertainment Weekly, he said in an interview, "there's a lot of love and respect underneath the relationship, and a lot of trust" between Damon and Luciana Barroso.
He said that the marriage, which is 21 years strong this year, is "built on a very sturdy foundation." Matt Damon continued, "We continue to grow and evolve as people, and so that foundation's really everything."
He also said that their relationship is "the greatest thing" in his life. How sweet is that?
They have four daughters in total. Matt Damon is a stepfather to 27-year-old Alexia from Barroso's previous relationship. And they have 3 daughters from their marriage: 20-year-old Isabella, 17-year-old Gia, and 15-year-old Stella.

The pair met in 2002, whilst he was filming Stuck On You.
Pretty funny title when you consider what happened between the two, but no, the plot isn't about two lovers who just can't get enough of each other. It's about two conjoined twins who have differing aspirations in life.
And, since their relationship, they've become more than just romantic partners. They also serve as business partners, too. Barroso is a partner at Artists Equity, one of Damon's companies. She's also a producer on several of their films, including The Instigators and Ben Affleck's Animals.
"She's been a part of that for me since I've known her," Matt Damon said about her role as a producer. "She reads everything I'm doing, she looks at cuts of movies. I've really relied on her notes for 23 years."
