According to authorities, at least 10 people were injured in the mass shooting. It's been reported that most of the injured were sadly teenagers. On New Year's Day, four armed men fired into a crowd near the Amazura nightclub in Jamaica.
They ended up firing more than 30 shots. Police report that the nightclub was holding a private event at the location. At this time, not much is known about the victims of the attack. Fortunately, it seems that the gunmen had a lousy aim or maybe they were going for more noise than a slaying. None of the victims are in critical condition. Authorities expect all of them to recover from their injuries.

Authorities say that six females and four males were injured in the mass shooting. Their ages range from 16 to 20. Following the attack, first responders transported them to the Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen Children's Medical Center for treatment.
Right now, we have even less information about the gunmen involved at the event. Police have linked a light-colored sedan to the shooting. Authorities are currently for the vehicle. According to the NYPD, the four gunmen fled the scene in a gray Infiniti with out-of-state plates.
The police chief with the NYPD also vowed to find the four gunmen responsible for the mass shooting.
"Four males walked towards the venue, three to four males began firing over 30 times in the direction of the people outside the venue hitting multiple victims," said Chief of Patrol Philip Rivera, NYPD. "There is zero tolerance for these senseless shootings, these acts of violence. Those responsible will be brought to justice."
New York's mass shooting also came on a day of terror. In New Orleans, a driver crashed through a crowd of people on Bourbon Street, killing 15 people in the process. Meanwhile, another driver blew up a Cybertruck outside of a Trump hotel in Las Vegas, dying in the process.
