Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actor and Broadway star Josh Grisetti has died at the age of 44. As reported by People, he tragically died by suicide.
The tragic circumstances of his death were announced by his co-star Rob McClure on social media. He starred alongside Grisetti in the Broadway run of Something Rotten!.
"It is with a shattered heart that I share the brilliant Josh Grisetti took his own life on Friday [July 10]," he wrote. "I'm not ready to even attempt to understand. My heart is with his wife and family as they try to deal with the reality of this."

Grisetti was most well known to mainstream audiences for his role in hit TV show The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. He appeared in the show's final season, playing Ralph Emerson for a number of episodes. He was also credited in ABC's 2007 sitcom The Knights of Prosperity.
But it was in theater where he excelled. Grisetti starred in his first Broadway show in 2015, It Shoulda Been You. From there, he flourished, touring alongside his co-star for a year in the Broadway and also the national run of Something Rotten!.

Tributes Have Poured in For the 'Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' Actor
Tributes have poured in from fans of Grisetti, as well as his contemporaries.
McClure mentioned some of his favorite memories of the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actor in his post: "Some of my all-time favorite memories were by this man's side, playing his brother onstage for years, watching him inspire students while transforming the Musical Theatre program at Cal State Fullerton... and havingt he honor of being the Best Man at his wedding."
Other co-stars were quick to light up the comments with tributes to the actor, with Sierra Boggess, his co-star in It Shoulda Been You writing, "We all loved him so unbelievably much, he created light and thought and humor everywhere he went."
Fans also commented to send their sympathies and pay tribute. One commenter wrote, "I found him during my son's audition process and he was a beacon in the storm," with another writing, "seeing you both come through my hometown on tour meant everything to me when I started wanting to pursue theatre."
