The Spider-Man: No Way Home actor confirmed that he and his co-star, who plays Mary Jane Watson in the comic-book franchise, are now married following months of speculation.
Tom Holland Didn't Share Many Details About His Wedding to Zendaya
As Esquire reported, Zendaya appeared to be wearing a wedding ring at the 2025 Golden Globes. Then, earlier this year, the actress' stylist, Law Roach, stoked rumors that her wedding to Holland had already taken place.
"The wedding has already happened. You missed it. It's very true," he told Access Hollywood in March.
Zendaya had also been seen wearing a gold band alongside her engagement ring. Then AI-generated photos of the ceremony began circulating online. However, some relatives, particularly Holland's grandmother, thought she wasn't invited.
Holland was then asked if he had to send messages to other members of his family, he replied, "No, because they were all there."
When the writer asked Holland to confirm if the wedding had already taken place, the actor firmly stated, "That's all you'll get on that."
Elsewhere in the interview, Holland also talked about how he feels about his bride.
He said, "She's my best friend, and I'm the happiest I ever have been when I'm with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period."
Zendaya Likes Her Privacy
Both Zendaya and Holland have been in the spotlight since they were young, as those of a certain generation know. Holland starred in films like The Impossible before putting on Spider-Man's costume. Zendaya was often seen on the Disney Channel before starring in the HBO series Euphoria.
Zendaya says she understands why people are invested in her relationship with Holland. She added that the couple wants to keep some things for themselves.
"We do our best in general to not hide ourselves from the world, but just to, I think, preserve things for ourselves so that we can maintain that joy just within ourselves and our loved ones and our family," she said to The New York Times. "So that's kind of like my broad way of just saying, I hear it, but I also like my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about, but then also what I'm also willing to share."
