Marty Stuart has called on some of his most talented friends to gather at the Ryman on Wed., June 6 for his 17th annual Late Night Jam. Margo Price, John Prine and Chris Stapleton will join Stuart, his Fabulous Superlatives and his wife Connie Smith for a full night of country music. The event brings together just about everyone a fan of roots-based country music would want to see in 2018, with one of the genre's most traditional-minded gatekeepers as the master of ceremonies.
In the spirit of classic country radio, Stuart brings along entertainment beyond headline-worthy singers and songwriters. Additional talent includes stand-up comedian, musician and Hee Haw alum Gary Mule Deer and the Grand Ole Opry Square Dancers.
Rounding out the bill is The Wandering Hearts, a UK-based indie-folk band heavily influenced by country music. Think First Aid Kit when they're singing about Emmylou Harris with all the twang a Swedish folk duo can muster.
In all, it's quite the eye-catching lineup, even for an event that in recent years featured the star power of Maren Morris, the Brothers Osborne and Eric Church. Each artist on the bill, from legendary peers like Prine to upstarts like The Wandering Hearts, gets the stamp of approval from a host known for putting together a fantastic modern answer to yesteryear's variety-filled stage shows.

The Late Night Jam occurs during the CMA Music Festival and doubles as a kick-off of Stuart's dates on Stapleton's All-American Road Show tour. The annual event raises money for the Recording Academy's MusiCares charity.
Tickets go on sale this Fri., April 20 on the Ryman's website.
