Marty Stuart has been named the 2019 artist-in-residence at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The country legend will perform three themed shows at the CMA Theater inside the museum.
The Sept. 11 show will focus on the 20th anniversary of Stuart's album The Pilgrim. On Sept. 18, Stuart will host a "Psychedelic Jam-Bo-Ree," featuring classic country songs and performers from the 1960s. The Sept. 25 show, "Songs That Tell a Story," will be an acoustic night of story songs. Each show will feature special surprise guests.
Tickets for the shows range from $39.50 to $85.50 and will go on sale Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m. CT. Tickets can be purchased at CMATheatre.com.

Stuart is the 16th artist to take part in the museum's artist-in-residence program. Past artist-in-residence honorees include Tom T. Hall, Cowboy Jack Clement, Guy Clark, Rosanne Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Vince Gill, Buddy Miller, Alan Jackson, Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs, Earl Scruggs, Connie Smith, Jason Isbell and last year's artist-in-residence Miranda Lambert.
Stuart will kick off his 2019 summer tour on June 13 in Des Moines, Iowa, where he'll share the stage with classic rockers The Steve Miller Band. The singer can also be seen in the upcoming 16-part PBS documentary, Country Music, which debuts on Sept. 15.
