Martina McBride and DAV (Disabled American Veterans) have teamed up to raise awareness for veterans reentering civilian life.

The nonprofit aims to provide a lifetime of service for veterans as they return from combat. McBride chose to dedicate her song “We’ll Pick Up Where We Left Off” from her album Reckless to the cause. Furthermore, McBride gifted DAV veterans across the country a special ticket package to her Love Unleashed Tour. The ticket package includes VIP treatment and a meet and greet with McBride.

According to a DAV press releaseMcBride said she was “proud to partner with DAV this holiday season.” The Grammy nominee also cited the power of music and its value in honoring “our veterans, their families, and their communities.”

DAV’s program provides support for more than 1 million veterans and their families each year. The program identifies benefits earned and deserved, while connecting veterans to meaningful job opportunities.
