Married At First Sight star Ryan de Nino has died at the age of 40. As reported by E!News, he starred on the second season of the reality show back in 2015.
His sister, Melissa de Nino, confirmed his passing in a touching
"Someone who's been there from the beginning and shares the same memories. No matter what we were going through, I loved him immensely. Life as I know it will never be the same."
Alongside the post was a carousel of images, both from when they were adults and when they were kids.
The Married At First Sight star had been paired with Jessica Castro in his season of the show. The receptionist and de Nino ended up hitting it off and got married.
They ended up staying married on Decision Day—at the time, Jessica seemed interested in keeping things going. "I come from a family of long successful marriages," she explained at the time. "The word 'divorce' just doesn't fall into my lifestyle."

However, by the time of the reunion episode, the couple weren't having the best of times. "A week prior to that, we had a blow-up because he told me that he was gonna be busy. So, I didn't see him. A few weeks later, I find a Valentine's Day card from another female at his apartment."
But when his death was publicly announced, Castro released a statement, per Page Six.
"I have not had contact with Ryan in years so I have/had no idea what his life entailed," she explained. "However, I do send my sincerest condolences to his family during this very difficult time. I can not imagine what they are going through. May he rest peacefully."
His family added that no other details will be released about the Married At First Sight star's death. However, they revealed his death was "sudden."
