Margo Price enjoys a wild night out in some of Nashville's best dive bars in her new video for "Hurtin' on the Bottle".
While downtown Nashville has quickly become a mecca of swanky restaurants and upscale bars, there are a few sacred spots left that supply the smoky honky-tonk atmosphere that the city was once known for. Price and her crew take a drinking tour through some of these real hidden gems of the Music City in her latest video.
If you aren't familiar with Price and her stellar music, she is one of the original pioneers from the latest generation of throwback country artists. Back before he came country music's newest savior, Margo opened for Sturgill Simpson's band Sunday Valley, and also played alongside him in a pick-up band nearly four years ago.
Over the years, she's released consistently solid tracks that pay homage to the old-school country sound from the days of Tammy and Loretta. There's a reason why Jack White chose Price to become his label's first signed country artist. Her incredible talent and unapologetic attitude is exactly what country music - and good music in general - is in desperate need of.
Price's upcoming album, Midwest Farmer's Daughter, will be released through Third Man Records on March 26.
