Hear Margo Price's Biting New Song 'Leftovers'

Margo Price has released a brand new song in conjunction with Amazon Music's new Produced By series, which spotlights producers. "Leftovers," the first song released in the series, pairs Price with producer Matt Ross-Spang, who engineered Jason Isbell's albums Something More Than Free and The Nashville Sound and co-produced Price's breakout album Midwest Farmer's Daughter.

Recorded in RCA Studio A, the Price-penned "Leftovers" cuts to the bone in a way that only Price can. The track finds the Americana star calling out copycats and backstabbing acquaintances.

"I wrote 'Leftovers' based on the kinds of people that don't have any original ideas of their own," Price said in a statement. "It could be anything from stealing a song idea, to copying someone else's style, or dating an ex of a good friend.....I also really just wanted to rhyme 'asshole' with 'casserole' and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. Matt Ross-Spang is a legendary producer and engineer in the making, who puts his blood, sweat and tears into making some of the best sounding records of our decade. We always have a lot of fun in the studio."
