Margo Price Adds More Dates to 2018 Nowhere Fast Tour

Margo Price just announced new April dates for her Nowhere Fast tour. The dates take the singer and songwriter up north for shows in the Midwest, Canada and the Northeast.

Price adding to her work load on the heels of a fairly new album isn't quite as noteworthy as her wisely chosen opening acts. For a handful of these dates, Price hits the road again with Aaron Lee Tasjan. The Americana singer's nose for vintage songs and suits makes him as good a match as most anyone for Price and her band's stage show. Plus, Tasjan had a reputation with rock 'n' rollers before his run of solo success, due in part to his time riding with Drivin' N' Cryin'.

Price, a household name for traditionalists in tune with Jack White's Third Man Records, gives back to her label boss' sonic children by bringing garage rockers the Blackfoot Gypsies along for the ride. There's something unapologetically Southern about the Nashville rockers' blues-influenced sound. Fans attending the first seven dates of Price's extended tour shouldn't be thrown too much of a curveball by a slightly different interpretation of the real Nashville sound.
