Hallmark Stars Marco Grazzini and Alvina August Welcome Baby Girl

The couple shared the first snap of their bundle of joy on Instagram.

The Hallmark and Virgin River families just welcomed an adorable new addition. Actors Marco Grazzini and Alvina August announced the arrival of their first child, a bouncing baby girl.

Grazzini shared the happy news in a Sept. 7 Instagram post. In the photo, the actor cradles his newborn daughter and smiles down at her. He captioned the sweet snap, "best birthday ever," followed by #girldad. The baby girl is Grazzini and August's first child together. The pair have been engaged since 2019 and announced that they were expecting in April 2023.

You can catch Grazzini, 42, in the just-dropped Season 5, Part 1 of Virgin River. The actor has played Mike Valenzuela on the hit Netflix romance series since Season 1. He is also a Hallmark and Lifetime regular, having starred in 2023's Hearts in the Game and Right in Front of Me (2021). August, 39, is also a veteran of Hallmark romance movies, having received a Leo Award nomination for her role in the network's 2020 holiday flick Deliver by Christmas. August currently stars in Bob Odenkirk's AMC comedy Lucky Hank and the Joel McHale-led FOX comedy Animal Control.

Grazzini's post was met with hearty congratulations from his Virgin River co-stars. Zibby Allen, who plays his love interest on the show, wrote, "Happy Birthday friend! Love to you 3." Leading lady Alexandra Breckenridge, who stars as Mel, chimed in with, "congratulations." Kai Bradbury, who plays fan-favorite Denny, added, "CUTIES."

Marvel and Barbie star Simu Liu, who previously acted alongside Grazzini in the much-loved sitcom Kim's Convenience, commented, "Look at that head of hair!!" The first-time father wrote back, "we share styling gel now."

Grazzini and August met through social media in 2014. Grazzini popped the question in Bali in 2019, and August announced her pregnancy in April 2023. This summer, the actress shared a loved-up snap of the pair in British Columbia, addressing their unborn daughter in the caption:

"He's the most hands-on dad you could hope for," August wrote. "The one responsible for all the delicious gub gubs & also the one to blame for all the times you were rattled out of sleep coz mummy was laughing so hard. In less than 10 weeks, you can tell him yourself what a great papà he already is."
