As reported by the Daily Mail, 26-year-old Jacob Wenske allegedly issued death threats toward Erika in April. They reportedly targeted her involvement at a Turning Point USA event scheduled for June.

Has the Man Threatening the Widow of Charlie Kirk Been Arrested?

Wenske was arrested by the San Antonio Police Department on Wednesday, May 27. He was then charged with two felony counts of making a terroristic threat involving public fear or serious bodily injury or public disruption. Wenske is being held at the Bexar Adult Detention Center with a bond set at $120,000.

He allegedly made threats against Charlie Kirk's widow on an April 12 Facebook post promoting Turning Point USA's Women's Leadership Summit. It is scheduled to take place June 5-7 at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter.

Kirk's widow is scheduled to take part in the event. Also slated to appear is U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

Erika became Turning Point USA CEO last year after her husband's death in September.

"'I know exactly where to bomb," Wenske allegedly wrote in the comments. "I can't wait to be the valet for her escort."

An investigation found that Wenske had worked for a parking management company that provided valet services to hotels and special events.

The Suspect Allegedly Made More Threats Against Erika Kirk

Authorities said they interpreted Wenske's comments "as threats of mass-casualty violence" and that they could allegedly be interpreted as surveillance of the event and its entry points.

Wenske also allegedly sent an email on January 26, months before the Facebook post. In the email, he wrote, "Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!! America will live on without those scum on this earth. Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event."

Wenske was also accused of directly telling Turning Point USA he was threatening death toward Erika. He will appear in court on August 25 for a pre-indictment hearing.

"We refuse to let threats silence us," read a post from Turning Point USA on X. "We look forward to a successful and inspiring gathering June 5-7 in San Antonio for 2,500+ ladies attending the Women's Leadership Summit!"

Erika then reposted the message.

Last month, she canceled an appearance at the University of Georgia. This follows her husband Charlie's assassination on Sep. 10 during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.
