There are few things in the world more pleasing to the senses than the smell of bacon frying on the stove. If you have a special place in your heart for that wonderful smell, there's a way you can enjoy it all the time - without completely ruining your diet.
Once you get past the slightly ridiculous intro, the video below shows you how to make your bacon candle. This isn't some Yankee Candle that has a slightly bacon-like odor. Nope, this candle is made from 100% bacon grease and fat.
The amount of bacon grease you'll need depends on how large in size and how many candles you want. If you're like me, you probably don't have a lot of time to spend making these. If so, stick to a smaller sized candle - you can always make more later!
You'll need to purchase a small glass jar or container to house the candle in, along with some wicks that can be glued to the bottom of the jar. You can find both of these at any craft store. Next, just cook up some bacon and collect the fat and grease that's left over. Pour it into the glass, let it sit in your fridge for a few hours and celebrate! You've just made your first bacon candle.
