If you are like me, going to your local county or state fair is all about the food. You can get pretty much anything fried (even if it probably shouldn't be) or covered in bacon. Now, thanks to this glorious recipe, you don't have to wait for the next big trip to the fairgrounds to get your favorite fried treat. In fact, this recipe combines the best of both worlds: fried Oreos and bacon.
The recipe found on the food blog Oh, Bite It! shows the simple process that creates a ridiculously satisfying treat. All you have to do is wrap an uncooked piece of bacon around an Oreo and secure it with a toothpick. Boil some canola oil and fry a few at a time at 350 degrees until they are golden brown on the outside. Let them cool slightly, and enjoy the ridiculous and wonderful joy that is a bacon-wrapped fried Oreo.
